3. Follow up on Insurance claims

This is the real meat of our service and one of the most time consuming aspects of insurance billing, which your insurance personnel can attest to.

This aspect of our service distinguishes us from most billing services - we follow-up on all claims whether sent electronically or by paper, and most billing services only send claims.

A. Twenty-one (21) days after your first paper claims are sent out your entire account is called. (We do not use paper tracers-useless). In most cases we know what is going to be paid before it reaches your office because of our contact with the insurance company.

Any "slow boat to China" method being used by an insurance company to delay payment to you is handled without buying any of their excuses. Our goal is "Get the maximum payment, fast"!!!!

Bi-monthly calling quickly alerts us to claims that never arrived
(it seems that there is a gremlin at the post office or at the insurance companies) and we quickly refile the claim. (fax when possible)

By our calling we find out if claims are pending for some information from the insured or doctors' office and this is handled either by phone or fax to the office or letter or patient. The letter to the patient is coordinated with the office personnel to expedite payment.
